From time to time, Karis House offers groups and classes to help people experience the good news of loving redemption in Jesus within specific contexts. Our upcoming groups will be listed here.

Connected Families is an educational and therapeutic group for parents (biological, foster and adoptive) who desire to heal and grow connections in their families.

When and where? TBD...Please contact us if you are interested in joining the next one!

Who can join? Connected Families will provide a safe place for parents who are hoping to experience healing and growth as they journey through the challenges and joys of parenting “kids from hard places.”  Kids from hard places often have histories that include one or more of the following: prenatal stress, traumatic birth, abuse, neglect, trauma, loss, adoption, and foster placement.

What will the group be like?  The group will be led by Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®) Educators, Ally Berttucci, and Rachel Hodges.  Approximately half of each group will be spent learning TBRI® strategies, and the other half will be a time of sharing and processing personal and parenting struggles.

How much does it cost? Cost is $60/session. Scholarships may be available if needed. Each participant will be required to purchase or borrow The Connected Child by Karyn Purvis.

How can I get more information?  Please contact Rachel Hodges, our Director of Karis Kids for more information.
