From time to time, Karis House offers groups and classes to help people experience the good news of loving redemption in Jesus within specific contexts. Our upcoming groups will be listed here.

Connected Families is an educational and therapeutic group for parents (biological, foster and adoptive) who desire to heal and grow connections in their families.

When and where? Stay tuned for details on our next group!

Who can join? Connected Families is open to parents who have attended the Empowered to Connect Conference & will provide a safe place for parents as they continue their journey through the challenges and joys of parenting “kids from hard places.” Kids from hard places often have histories that include one or more of the following: prenatal stress, traumatic birth, abuse, neglect, trauma, loss, adoption, and foster placement.

What will the group be like?  The group will be led by Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®) Educators, Rachel Hodges and Jill Oberle. Half of the group will be spent learning how to implement TBRI®, and the other half will be a time of sharing, processing and parenting troubleshooting parenting struggles through a TBRI® framework.

How much does it cost? Cost is $60/session. Scholarships may be available if needed. Each participant will be required to purchase or borrow The Connected Child by Karyn Purvis.

How can I get more information?  Please contact Rachel Hodges, our Director of Karis Kids for more information.
