What You Should Know About Me
I am amazed everyday at the strength and resilience demonstrated by those I have the privilege to sit with in the counseling room. It is a beautiful experience to walk together through their stories, to grieve the sorrow and to celebrate the joy, and to discover more and more who God has made them to be and the story he has written for their lives. I have seen God work mightily in my own story through counseling, and my desire is that others can experience love, joy, and hope as the Lord works in them through our time together.
I love exploring new places and restaurants, playing way-too-intense board games, and lifting heavy barbells.
My husband and I moved to St. Louis from Seattle, and I am so thankful for the home and community we have built here in South City. We live with our cat, Minerva, in Tower Grove South, where we laugh hard, play hard, and adventure together.
Why are you apart of Karis House?
After finishing my practicum at Karis House this spring, I am so thankful to be completing my internship in a place where everyone loves their job. There really isn't a better way to learn to love what I do!
I also love the Tower Grove + South City neighborhoods, and am glad to continue to be a part of the community where I live and attend church by being on the Karis House team.
